Client Experience survey: Emailing your clients

Step 1:

Register to generate your unique link that will attach your customer’s responses to your profile.

Step 2:

Export your list of client email addresses from XPLAN or other customer relationship tools. Alternatively, send the email below directly via the platform.

Step 3:

Set up an email with your client list in the BCC field.

Step 4:

Email your clients with a survey invitation explaining what the survey’s purpose, time commitment and a link to how they can access the survey. Here’s an example invitation you can use:

Body:

Dear valued client,

I hope you are well.

I’m writing to you to ask for a few minutes of your time to complete a short survey about your experiences as our client.

Our leading industry publication, ifa magazine, is conducting research to better inform the industry about the value of financial advice and the important role financial advisers play in the life of their clients.

The survey is anonymous and responses will only be viewed in aggregate. Further, none of your personal details will be used by any third parties whatsoever.

The results of the survey will be used in an important professional development event aimed at improving the customer experience in financial advice and will help shape our business.
